Your Responsibilities

• You will design and optimize the electrical infrastructure (medium and low voltage, UPS systems, backup power systems) and ensure maximum selectivity and redundancy.
• You will plan modernizations (retrofits) during ongoing operations. You will find solutions to expand capacities without ever pulling the plug.
• You will implement and refine our DCIM systems (Data Center Infrastructure Management) and link sensor technology with smart evaluation.
• You will be the central interface between building services and IT operations. You will understand both the requirements of modern server hardware and the limitations of building technology.
• You will calculate load profiles, evaluate harmonic loads, and ensure that our PUE values (Power Usage Effectiveness) remain world-class through intelligent engineering.

Requirements and Your Profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable background (e.g., state-certified technician (m/f/d) with many years of engineering experience).
• You master the theory of energy technology (VDE regulations, short-circuit current calculations), but are not afraid to take measurements yourself if necessary.
• You make well-founded decisions based on data, but act intuitively correctly when quick solutions are needed.
• You bear responsibility for operational safety. An availability of 99.999% is not a marketing slogan for you, but your personal engineering goal.
• You enjoy traveling in southern Germany, have a Class B driver's license, and see travel not as a burden, but as part of your on-site solution competence.
• You know that critical infrastructures don't have closing times – and you are willing to take responsibility outside of regular business hours when the situation requires it.
• You are proficient in German (fluent in spoken and written) and communicate precisely and professionally in English – whether in technical detail or in international exchange.
