When you start as a Senior Design Engineer with us, you will encounter a variety of technical challenges in the fields of industry, infrastructure, and energy. By working for and with various clients in mechanical engineering, high-tech, and robotics, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with different technologies. Responsibilities

From the initial contact with the client to the finalization of the project, you will always keep all threads in your hands. You are primarily responsible for the development and provision of the design. Starting from the rough draft to the detailed design:

• You handle all project cycles independently in close coordination with your clients and your supervisor;
• With the help of clear instructions and guidelines, you ensure that your entire team pulls together. Your conceptual thinking makes it easy for you to implement individual customer requests;
• You always keep your project planning in view and maintain an overview of material costs and working hours;
• Good customer retention and contact with suppliers are a matter of course for you.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• At least five years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer in the design of machines or automation technology;
• Experience with CAD programs, e.g. Siemens NX and SolidWorks;
• Preferably experience in the field of vacuum and cleanroom technology as well as high-precision machines;
• Preferably experience in the semiconductor industry;
• Fluent in English and German.
