Your Tasks

As a Senior Developer / Tech Lead (m/f/d), you are a driving force for GBTEC's software development. You use your profound knowledge of Java-based software systems for the continuous further development of our award-winning BIC BPM Platform. Furthermore, you are happy to pass on your knowledge to your team colleagues, thus ensuring that GBTEC stays at the cutting edge. You form an interface between product management and developers.

• Further development of existing functions and implementation of new product features of our BIC BPM Platform in an agile, international development team
• Active participation in the further development of development processes and tools, incorporating the latest technology trends
• Ensuring product quality through a test-driven working method (TDD / BDD)
• Active knowledge transfer within the team and mentoring of junior developers
• Implementation and consideration of cross-sectional requirements such as IT security, availability, and performance
• Coordination of interfaces between backend and frontend components as well as strategic cooperation with our Coding Architect

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience and very good knowledge in development with Java and Spring
• Extensive practical experience with one or more of the following technologies: Spring-Boot, Spring-Cloud, Spring-Security, Spring-Data, Messaging (RabbitMQ), Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Maven, Docker
• Knowledge in the development of Agentic Systems
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture
• Knowledge in TDD/BDD, CI/CD, Clean Code, and agile development processes
• Very good English and good German language skills
• Completed university degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Enthusiasm for new challenges and goal-oriented implementation of solutions
