As a family-run company based in Frankfurt am Main, we have been developing software solutions for the challenges of tomorrow since 2012 and are growing steadily. Our software Venios.NET therefore addresses the point where traditional SCADA systems can no longer be effective on their own due to the enormous amounts of data in future smart grids.

Responsibilities

• You support our DevOps team in the development and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code, automations, and workflows related to the operation of our Venios.NET platform, whether in the cloud or on-premise.
• You analyze workflows and integrate them into our back-office platform for more autonomy for internal stakeholders, such as project management.
• You actively shape the further development of our offering for hosting critical infrastructure in sovereign European cloud environments and find solutions for integrating new regulatory requirements.
• You design and develop technical and functional concepts together with the team to improve our availability and resilience within our internal RFC and ADR process.
• You work closely with colleagues from product development and support them with expertise from cloud infrastructure and automation.
• You take care of the integration of customer IT infrastructure into our Venios.NET platform.
• You coordinate with our ITSec team and maintain our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• You are the point of contact for your colleagues when using our internal IT platform.
• You will progressively take responsibility for individual shifts in our 24/7 support on-call service.

Requirements

• You have a completed degree in an IT field (Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar) and first to several years of experience in the DevOps environment.
• You have experience in the administration and operation of Kubernetes.
• You have sound knowledge of working with Linux and containers.
• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• You live GitOps with ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform.
• You have several years of experience in object-oriented programming, such as C#, Python, or TypeScript.
• You have basic knowledge of working with Windows clients and servers.
• You have knowledge in the area of network administration, including VPNs (IPSec, OpenVPN).
• You speak German well and have secure English skills for collaboration in our international team.
• You enjoy supporting colleagues with IT-relevant issues.
• You have a place of residence or a work permit in Germany or Austria.

Team

We are growing. You will be the third team member in a currently 2-person team. Venios currently has a total of 30 employees.
