IgniteByte Digital is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our end-to-end cloud infrastructure. This role is critical in setting up scalable environments from scratch — including build pipelines, networking, domain configuration, and production-ready deployments on Microsoft Azure.

Contract Type: Initial 1-Year Contract (with potential extension/permanent opportunity)

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS).
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Set up complete build and release pipelines from code commit to production deployment.
• Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters using Kubernetes.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and deploy Azure Web Apps, SQL databases, and related PaaS services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep.
• Design and configure networking components (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, DNS, domain mapping, SSL certificates).
• Set up environments end-to-end: development, staging, and production with proper access control and governance.
• Ensure high availability, backup strategies, and disaster recovery implementation.
• Monitor system performance and optimize cloud costs.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience setting up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, networking, and domain configuration.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or DevOps Engineer Expert) — highly desirable.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to security compliance frameworks.
