As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play an important role in the implementation of complex cloud projects and take responsibility for the technical architecture and implementation of various cloud solutions for our customers with a primary focus on migration topics.

Responsibilities

AWS Cloud Migrations & Delivery

  • Lead and implement AWS cloud migration projects
  • Design and build secure landing zones
  • Migrate applications, infrastructure and databases to AWS
  • Support cutovers and production go-lives with a strong focus on stability and security

DevOps & Platform Engineering

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Automate cloud environments and deployments
  • Ensure observability using monitoring, logging and alerting tools

Containers & Cloud‑Native Workloads

  • Migrate and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS/Fargate
  • Improve reliability, scalability and performance of workloads

Customer Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted technical counterpart for customer teams
  • Support migration scoping and technical estimations
  • Clearly communicate trade‑offs and architectural decisions

Requirements

Required

  • 4+ years experience in DevOps, Platform or Cloud Engineering
  • Strong hands‑on experience with AWS
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
  • CI/CD pipeline design and operation
  • Container platforms: Kubernetes OR ECS
  • Fluent in English and German

Nice to have

  • AWS certifications
  • Database migration experience
  • SRE practices (monitoring, alerting, reliability concepts)
  • Client‑facing or consulting experience
