Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Our client, a rapidly scaling tech firm specializing in advanced SaaS solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain their cloud infrastructure in a fully remote capacity. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our client's cloud-based environments. You will design and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, automate deployment pipelines (CI/CD), and implement robust monitoring and logging solutions. Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential, along with a deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). You will work closely with software development teams to streamline the development lifecycle, improve deployment processes, and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues. A strong background in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is required for automation tasks. Security best practices, disaster recovery planning, and performance optimization will be key responsibilities. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP). Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments. Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm. Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash). Ensure the security, compliance, and availability of cloud environments. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues. Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering. Proven expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
