Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for an exceptional DevOps Engineer who thrives in high-performance environments and can architect, build, and scale mission-critical infrastructure. This role is not just about maintaining systems—it’s about owning reliability, automation, scalability, and speed across the entire engineering lifecycle.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping our DevOps culture, driving automation-first practices, and enabling rapid, secure, and resilient software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments
• Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
• Lead automation initiatives to eliminate manual processes across environments
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime (SRE principles)
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to streamline delivery
• Own incident management, root cause analysis, and postmortems
• Enforce DevSecOps best practices across the development lifecycle
• Mentor engineers and establish DevOps standards and governance

Required Skills & Expertise

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure Engineering
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform (multi-cloud is a strong plus)
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Solid experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and system architecture
• Experience in high-scale production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets)
• Exposure to DevSecOps and security automation
• Hands-on with microservices and distributed systems
• Knowledge of cost optimization and cloud governance
• Certifications in AWS / Azure / Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)
