Senior DevOps Engineer

A well-known banking client is currently looking for a creative, talented and self-sufficient Senior DevOps Engineers on a permanent contract for hybrid work in Prague (Czechia).

Key Information

• Long-lasting projects - no bench - self-development opportunities
• Hybrid work - 2 days a week working in the office, in Prague
• Work in the Czech time zone
• EU citizenship/Czech blue card is mandatory
• Relocation package for candidates holding an EU passport! (Travel costs, free 1-month accommodation, personal Czech tax number)
• Team size: (devs, testers) - 90 people globally, in the local team in Prague, just 3 DevOps engineers in the team

Skills Needed

• At least 8+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps engineer or SRE Engineer role with a strong DevOps focus - supporting a critical system in previous roles.
• Experience in working on fully automated system on day to day
• Experience with Docker, building & deploying services on Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in a globally distributed environment
• Experience with REST, Websockets, Kafka, Solace, monolithic and microservices-based architectures
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitLab
• Knowledge of Monitoring and Observability Tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk
• Development background - Java or C++, not infra background
• EU citizenship/Czech perm residency/ blue card is mandatory
