This exciting position allows you to work with cutting-edge Public Cloud technologies (GCP/AWS/AZURE) while deploying, automating, and supporting mission-critical solutions for notable clients. You'll be involved in various projects, using modern tools like Terraform, Ansible, Powershell, Datadog, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, and Containers.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives on complex client deployment projects.
• Drive product engineering projects to enhance our services.
• Provide Public Cloud subject matter expertise to pre-sales architects.
• Install, configure, and manage operating systems and Public Cloud services.
• Develop custom client machine images and manage centralized configuration for quick, repeatable builds.
• Maintain high availability through proactive measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues.
• Keep clients and partners informed of project statuses and issues.
• Investigate and resolve problems following the problem management process.
• Actively seek to improve workflows, automation, and processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7 support of our Public Cloud clients.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in Public Cloud services.
• Mentor new team members and provide training to other teams.
• Serve as a technical escalation point in the absence of management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience supporting customer-focused mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years experience in engineering or supporting Public Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). GCP experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong operating system knowledge, particularly in Linux, with familiarity in Windows.
• Hands-on experience with Public Cloud services, demonstrating implementation of services like EC2, S3, ELB, etc.
• Proven automation and scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exceptional client-facing and communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Current Public Cloud Associate and Professional-level certifications are required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for engagements.
• A degree in a computing-related discipline is preferred.
