Unser Klient, ein führendes Softwareunternehmen im Bereich Cloud-Lösungen, sucht zur Verstärkung seines globalen Teams einen erfahrenen Senior DevOps Engineer, der vollumfänglich im Homeoffice arbeiten kann. Sie werden eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Automatisierung, Skalierung und Überwachung unserer hochverfügbaren Infrastrukturen spielen und maßgeblich zur Verbesserung unserer Entwicklungs- und Deployment-Prozesse beitragen.
Responsibilities
- Design, Implementierung und Wartung von CI/CD-Pipelines zur Automatisierung von Build-, Test- und Deployment-Prozessen.
- Management und Skalierung von Cloud-Infrastrukturen (AWS, Azure, GCP) mit Fokus auf Automatisierung und Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools wie Terraform und Ansible.
- Sicherstellung der Systemverfügbarkeit, Performance und Sicherheit unserer Produktionsumgebungen.
- Entwicklung und Implementierung von Monitoring-, Logging- und Alerting-Strategien.
- Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklerteams, um die Integration von DevOps-Praktiken und Tools in den Softwareentwicklungszyklus zu fördern.
- Fehlerbehebung und Performance-Optimierung von komplexen verteilten Systemen.
- Erstellung und Pflege von technischer Dokumentation.
- Bewertung und Einführung neuer Technologien und Tools zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der DevOps-Praktiken.
- Implementierung von Sicherheitsmaßnahmen und Gewährleistung der Compliance.
- Teilnahme an Rufbereitschaften zur Unterstützung kritischer Systeme.
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit relevanter Berufserfahrung.
- Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung als DevOps Engineer, SRE oder in einer vergleichbaren Rolle.
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse in der Administration und im Management von Cloud-Plattformen (idealerweise AWS).
- Fundierte Erfahrung mit IaC-Tools wie Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation oder ähnlichen.
- Umfassende Kenntnisse in CI/CD-Tools (z.B. Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Erfahrung mit Containerisierungstechnologien wie Docker und Kubernetes.
- Gute Kenntnisse von Monitoring-Tools (z.B. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Starke Kenntnisse in mindestens einer Skriptsprache (z.B. Bash, Python).
- Verständnis von Netzwerkgrundlagen und Sicherheitspraktiken.
- Ausgeprägte Problemlösungskompetenz und die Fähigkeit, eigenverantwortlich zu arbeiten.
- Fließende Deutsch- und/oder Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Several years of practical experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE or in a comparable role.
- Very good knowledge in administration and management of cloud platforms (ideally AWS).
- Sound experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or similar.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Strong knowledge in at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python).
- Understanding of network fundamentals and security practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Fluent German and/or English skills in speaking and writing.
Responsibilities

- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies and tools for continuous improvement of DevOps practices.
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems.
