About the Role

As a Senior DevOps & Security Engineer, you will build and scale our cloud infrastructure with a security-first approach. You will specialize in AWS (and potentially on-prem) cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes. You will develop automated, compliant systems with proactive monitoring and a zero-trust architecture.

Responsibilities

1. Security-First Approach

   • Zero-trust architecture with least-privilege access
   • Automated SAST/DAST scans in CI/CD pipelines
   • Policy as Code enforcement (OPA, Kyverno)
   • Proactive vulnerability management and incident response
   • Compliance automation and audit logging

2. Cloud & Infrastructure

   • AWS infrastructure (EKS, VPC, RDS, IAM)
   • Terraform Infrastructure as Code
   • Multi-region architectures
   • Kubernetes cluster management, Helm, ArgoCD GitOps
   • Service Mesh (Cilium)

3. Proactive Operations

   • Infrastructure automation and self-healing systems
   • Cost optimization and FinOps practices
   • Predictive scaling and capacity planning
   • Blameless postmortems and continuous improvement
   • Comprehensive runbook documentation

Qualifications

Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent. Alternatively, equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience in the DevOps/Security field.
