What you'll do

• Develop and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks and policies that establish clear standards for data management, quality, privacy, and security across the organization.
• Monitor compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements, conduct risk analyses, and identify areas for improvement to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and ethical practice.
• Analyze complex data landscapes to identify governance gaps, quality issues, and opportunities for improved data accessibility, translating insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data management procedures, metadata standards, and governance workflows, forming the foundation for organizational data practices.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration, quality assurance, and alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives.
• Drive process automation initiatives to optimize governance activities, reduce manual effort, and enhance the efficiency of data management operations.
• Evaluate and optimize ITIL processes in Configuration Management, Software Asset Management, and License Compliance to ensure technological resources are effectively controlled.
• Promote best practices for data privacy and security, working cross-functionally to integrate governance principles into digital initiatives and transformation projects.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels to raise awareness of data governance, build consensus on policies, and foster a culture of responsible data stewardship throughout the organization.

• In-depth knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks, with a strong understanding of how to establish policies, monitor compliance, and drive accountability for data quality and integrity in complex organizational environments.
• Strong capabilities in data management disciplines such as data integration, metadata management, and data privacy, with the competence to design systems that balance accessibility with security and regulatory compliance.
• Solid expertise in business intelligence and data analytics to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that inform governance strategies and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Distinct competence in Configuration Management, Software Asset Management, and Software License Management to ensure IT resources are tracked, optimized, and compliant with organizational standards.
• Thorough understanding of risk management and change management methodologies, with the ability to assess potential impacts, navigate organizational dynamics, and implement governance initiatives smoothly.
• Strong technical skills, including programming and scripting capabilities, enabling process automation, data manipulation, and the development of tools that enhance governance efficiency.

• Proficient in technical documentation to create clear, comprehensive materials that make complex governance concepts accessible and actionable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
