About the role

About the Role

Data is the lifeblood of modern organizations – but without governance, it's just noise. As a Senior Digital Governance and IT Data Analyst I, you will become the architect of order in the digital landscape: You will establish the frameworks, policies, and practices that transform raw information into trustworthy, actionable intelligence. This role sits at the crucial intersection of technology, compliance, and strategy, where your expertise will ensure data quality, security, and accessibility across the entire organization. If you are passionate about building robust governance structures that empower decision-makers while protecting the organization's integrity, this opportunity is for you.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks and policies that establish clear standards for data management, quality, privacy, and security across the organization.
  • Monitor compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements, conduct risk analyses, and identify areas for improvement to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and ethical practice.
  • Analyze complex data landscapes to identify governance gaps, quality issues, and opportunities for improved data accessibility, translating insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including data management procedures, metadata standards, and governance workflows, forming the foundation for organizational data practices.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration, quality assurance, and alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives.
  • Drive process automation initiatives to optimize governance activities, reduce manual effort, and enhance the efficiency of data management operations.
  • Evaluate and optimize ITIL processes in Configuration Management, Software Asset Management, and License Compliance to ensure technological resources are effectively controlled.
  • Promote best practices for data privacy and security, working cross-functionally to integrate governance principles into digital initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels to raise awareness of data governance, build consensus on policies, and foster a culture of responsible data stewardship throughout the organization.

What makes you successful?

  • In-depth knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks, with a strong understanding of how to establish policies, monitor compliance, and drive accountability for data quality and integrity in complex organizational environments.
  • Strong capabilities in data management disciplines such as data integration, metadata management, and data privacy, with the competence to design systems that balance accessibility with security and regulatory compliance.
  • Solid expertise in business intelligence and data analytics to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that inform governance strategies and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Distinct competence in Configuration Management, Software Asset Management, and Software License Management to ensure IT resources are tracked, optimized, and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Thorough understanding of risk management and change management methodologies, with the ability to assess potential impacts, navigate organizational dynamics, and implement governance initiatives smoothly.
  • Strong technical skills, including programming and scripting capabilities, enabling process automation, data manipulation, and the development of tools that enhance governance efficiency.
  • Practical knowledge in stakeholder management and strategic thinking, with growing abilities to engage diverse audiences, build relationships, and align governance initiatives with overarching business goals.
  • Proficient in technical documentation to create clear, comprehensive materials that make complex governance concepts accessible and actionable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong commitment to ethical integrity and data security, viewing every decision through the lens of responsible stewardship and organizational trust.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL Process Evaluation, with the ability to assess IT service management practices and recommend improvements that strengthen governance and operational excellence.
  • Analytical mindset combined with attention to detail, ensuring nothing is overlooked while maintaining focus on strategic objectives and organizational impact.
  • Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills to build bridges between IT, compliance, business units, and leadership, fostering shared understanding and collective success.

What we offer you?

  • A pivotal role in shaping how the organization manages its most valuable asset – data – where your governance frameworks directly influence the quality of decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Exposure to company-wide initiatives and cross-functional collaboration, working with diverse teams from IT, compliance, legal, and business units to drive meaningful change.
  • The opportunity to build expertise at the intersection of technology, risk, and strategy, positioning yourself at the forefront of one of the most critical and rapidly evolving domains in modern business.
  • Autonomy to design and implement governance solutions with real impact, supported by leadership buy-in and the resources you need for transformation.
  • Professional development opportunities, including certifications, training, and access to emerging governance technologies and methodologies to keep your skills current and relevant.
  • A culture that values precision, integrity, and innovation, where your commitment to excellence and ethical practice is recognized and rewarded.
  • A comprehensive benefits package and flexible work arrangements that support your well-being and work-life balance.
  • A collaborative environment where your expertise is valued, your voice is heard, and your contributions make a tangible difference to the company's success.
