Our client, a leading e-commerce company, is seeking a data-driven and innovative Senior Digital Marketing Manager specializing in Performance Marketing to lead their online advertising efforts in **Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, NG**. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of optimizing paid media campaigns across various platforms to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive performance marketing strategies.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute data-driven performance marketing strategies across multiple channels, including Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping), social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and other paid platforms. Manage and optimize paid media budgets to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CPA, ROAS, and LTV. Conduct thorough keyword research, audience segmentation, and campaign targeting to ensure effective ad placement and messaging. Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific dashboards), providing insights and actionable recommendations for improvement. A/B test ad copy, creatives, landing pages, and targeting parameters to continuously enhance campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with the content and creative teams to develop compelling ad copy, visuals, and landing pages that align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and platform updates in digital advertising and performance marketing. Manage relationships with advertising agencies and technology partners as needed. Identify opportunities for new channel exploration and testing. Ensure all digital marketing activities are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards. Contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy and business objectives. Mentor and guide junior members of the marketing team. Develop and manage conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies for paid media landing pages. Analyze competitor activities and market trends to identify competitive advantages. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong emphasis on performance marketing and paid media management. Demonstrated expertise in managing significant budgets and achieving measurable results across platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads. Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and ad management platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent understanding of SEM, SEO principles, social media advertising, and programmatic advertising. Proven experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Experience within the e-commerce or retail sector is highly advantageous.
