Role Overview
We’re hiring a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist who operates as a hybrid Senior Account Manager + Strategic Lead. This role is designed for someone who can confidently own high‑value client relationships, drive marketing strategy, and ensure execution moves forward with discipline and accountability.
You will take ownership of a focused portfolio that includes high‑impact accounts requiring strong strategic direction, executive‑level communication, and structured project leadership. You’ll lead client conversations, present clear performance narratives, and collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure marketing initiatives generate measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications
- 5+ years in digital marketing strategy, account management, or client success in a fast‑paced agency environment
- Strong understanding of business communication expectations and digital trends in B2B US/Canadian markets
- At least 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing agency managing ongoing client relationships
- Strong understanding of SEO, content, and inbound marketing strategy (strategy‑first; hands‑on knowledge required)
- Experience managing B2B lead generation programs on a retainer basis, not just one‑off projects
- Experience interpreting marketing performance data and understanding attribution, funnel metrics, and ROI
- Proven ability to lead executive‑level client conversations with confidence and structure
- Strong strategic thinking combined with clear communication and persuasive framing
- Advanced ability to create and present client‑ready decks and strategic roadmaps
- Strong project management skills able to coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive accountability
- Highly organized, disciplined, and process‑oriented
- Tech‑savvy with experience using reporting dashboards, CRM systems, and project management tools
- Bonus: Experience in B2B services, technology, SaaS, or MSP/IT marketing environments
Role and Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategic Ownership
- Own a portfolio of high‑value accounts requiring strong strategic direction and communication
- Build trusted client relationships with multiple stakeholders and maintain high client satisfaction
- Lead recurring client calls with clear agendas, strong structure, and outcome‑driven facilitation
- Proactively manage expectations, risks, and performance conversations
- Handle escalations with professionalism and solution‑oriented thinking
Strategy & Performance Management
- Develop and communicate strategy across SEO, content, and inbound marketing programs
- Analyze campaign performance to identify growth opportunities and optimization priorities
- Translate data into clear narratives including performance insights, strategic pivots, and next‑step recommendations
- Drive accountability across internal teams to ensure priorities are executed efficiently
- Identify opportunities for account growth aligned with client objectives
Project & Execution Leadership
- Ensure strategic initiatives move from planning to execution without delay
- Coordinate closely with delivery teams to maintain timelines and quality standards
- Manage scope appropriately to avoid over‑ or under‑servicing
- Maintain structured documentation, action plans, and performance tracking
Reporting & Presentation Excellence
- Build and deliver high‑quality client presentations for performance reviews and strategic planning
