Our client is an international retail company accelerating its digital transformation.

They are looking for a Senior Digital Solution Architect to join their teams in Paris and lead the architecture of their most strategic digital initiatives; eCommerce, Apps, AI integratrion. are examples of their digital roadmap.

This is a high-impact role with a clear path for rapid internal progression into architecture leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive end-to-end solution architecture for complex, business-critical digital initiatives
• Own architectural decisions across platforms, data, integrations, and AI-enabled products
• Shape the architecture of eCommerce platforms, a strategic priority in the organisation's long-term digital roadmap
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, performance, and sustainability
• Collaborate closely with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
• Lead architecture forums, design reviews, and technical governance across the digital portfolio
• Act as a technical mentor for architects and senior engineers across the organisation

Candidate profile

• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect on complex digital programs
• Strong command of cloud-native architectures, enterprise integration patterns, and API design
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration and large-scale digital platform design
• Exposure to eCommerce architecture is a strong plus
• Ability to translate technical complexity into business language and engage non-technical stakeholders
• Natural leadership and recognised thought leadership in architecture or digital communities
• Fluent English required; French is a plus in an international context
