Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager to join their fully remote team. This role is integral to driving online sales and customer acquisition through data-driven performance marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing paid advertising strategies across various digital channels, including search engines, social media, and display networks. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of e-commerce metrics, A/B testing, and a proven ability to manage significant advertising budgets to achieve aggressive ROI targets.

This is a fully remote position, requiring strong self-discipline, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment. You will be instrumental in shaping our client's online growth strategy. This role is conceptually linked to our client's operations in Upington, Northern Cape, but does not require physical presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies to drive qualified traffic and conversions for e-commerce platforms.
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience segmentation, and targeting to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, CTR, Conversion Rate, etc.) using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and platform-specific dashboards.
  • Implement A/B testing for ad creatives, landing pages, and campaign strategies to continuously improve performance.
  • Manage and allocate advertising budgets efficiently to achieve maximum return on investment.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad copy and visual assets.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in digital performance marketing and e-commerce.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and channels for customer acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Develop forecasts and projections for campaign performance and budget requirements.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and technology vendors as needed.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in performance marketing and e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale paid acquisition campaigns and achieving measurable results is critical.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, and advanced Excel skills is required.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
