About the role
As a Senior E-commerce Platform Manager for our rapidly growing retail client, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing online sales channels. This remote-first position provides you with the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving significant growth for our digital retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the e-commerce platform end-to-end, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience that leads to increased conversion and revenue.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee the strategy, development, and execution of the e-commerce platform roadmap. - Manage all aspects of the e-commerce website, including user experience (UX), site performance, content management, and merchandising. - Analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends and optimization opportunities. - Implement A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to enhance user journeys and boost sales. - Collaborate with marketing, IT, and operations teams for seamless integration of e-commerce functions. - Manage relationships with third-party vendors, technology partners, and platform providers. - Stay updated with e-commerce best practices, emerging technologies, and competitor activities. - Develop and track the e-commerce budget, monitoring ROI and key performance indicators (KPIs). - Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce specialists to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Ensure platform security, compliance with regulations, and optimization for mobile devices. - Drive innovation in the online shopping experience through exploration of new features and functionalities.
**Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 6 years of e-commerce management experience with a proven track record of driving online sales growth. - Extensive experience with major e-commerce platforms like Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud. - Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, CRO, and SEO best practices. - Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics. - Experience with A/B testing tools and methodologies. - Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience with payment gateways, shipping logistics, and customer service integrations. - Familiarity with digital marketing channels and strategies.
