Emtech Engineering is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our design team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys hands‑on building systems design, leading projects, and mentoring junior staff while working on a diverse range of residential, commercial, and institutional projects across Atlantic Canada.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design of power distribution, lighting, life safety, and control systems
• Prepare drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
• Perform load calculations, short‑circuit and coordination studies (SKM Power*Tools)
• Complete lighting analysis using AGI32
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide construction administration and site reviews
• Mentor and support junior team members

What We’re Looking For

• P.Eng. (or eligible) with 5+ years in building electrical design
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
• Experience delivering projects in commercial, residential, or institutional sectors
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment
