For demanding EPC projects in the energy transmission sector, GE Vernova is currently seeking 2 Secondary Design Engineers (m/f/d) for the Dresden and Berlin locations – one position at Junior/Mid-Level and one position at Senior/Lead-Level.

The focus of the role is the development and project planning of control, protection, and low-voltage systems for high-voltage and substation projects. We are looking for profiles that analyze secondary engineering requirements, develop technical solutions, create specifications, and contribute to project success in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

This position is suitable for candidates with an electrical engineering background and experience in secondary engineering, protection and control technology, low-voltage systems, and the creation of technical documentation for EPC or substation projects.

• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in the EPC project environment
• CAD-supported project documentation
• Completed apprenticeship or degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field
• Proficient in handling circuit diagrams, cable synopses, and ideally CAD tools
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
