Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Remote)

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for new products and upgrades. Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) using CAD software. Perform complex simulations and analysis (e.g., transient analysis, thermal analysis) to validate designs. Select and specify appropriate electrical components, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project components. Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Ensure designs adhere to safety regulations, industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE), and client specifications. Document all design processes, test results, and technical specifications. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. Stay current with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and engineering. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, Eagle). Strong knowledge of power electronics, control systems, microcontrollers, and PCB design. Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
