Senior Electrical Engineer (12months FTC- UAE)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and supervise the implementation of electrical systems, including lights, power distribution, ELV systems, and pass away design.

• Prepare detailed electrical layouts, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD and Revit.

• Ensure all electrical designs comply with international standards, local codes, and client requirements.

• Perform electrical load calculations, lighting designs and energy efficiency assessments.

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, and draftsmen in preparing details electrical drawings.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that electrical installations meet design specifications and quality standards.

• Address RFIs and resolve electrical design-related issues during construction.

• Provide technical support during commissioning, testing and project handover.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Preference Masters).

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in electrical system design, especially for high-rise buildings or large-scale projects.

• Strong expertise in Electrical Work Estimation, ELV systems, and pass way design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical for electrical design and documentation.

• Hands-on experience in lighting design, power distribution, and energy management.

• Knowledge of international electrical codes and local building regulations.

• PMP Certificate or other Project Management credentials

• Sound knowledge of Building Information Modelling processes and tools.

• LEED or BREEAM accreditations for energy efficiency design.
