About the role
Looking to step into a role where you own the full design lifecycle and have real influence on cutting-edge space systems? Our client is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their space engineering team, supporting the development of advanced fluid control systems.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Electrical Engineer:
You’ll be embedded within a project team as the primary electrical engineer, taking ownership from requirements through final validation.
Your work will include:
- Designing and developing control systems for motor-operated valves
- Leading architecture, circuit design, and system integration
- Supporting both new product development and enhancements to existing systems
- You’ll typically manage 2–3 concurrent projects, with a strong emphasis on design (≈80%) and hands-on lab/testing work (≈20%).
Requirements of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
- Experience with motor design and control systems
- Strong CCA-level circuit design (board-level ownership)
- Solid background in analog circuit design
- Experience working with sensors in control environments
- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
