Electrical Engineer – Medical Imaging Systems

We’re seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of next-generation medical imaging hardware, with ownership across circuit design, prototyping, verification, and manufacturing support. This role offers strong cross-functional exposure and the opportunity to work on regulated, high-impact medical technology.

What You’ll Do

• Design and troubleshoot printed circuit assemblies, power distribution systems, cables, and harnesses
• Own portions of the electrical development lifecycle from concept through design transfer and production support
• Specify, select, and test electronic and electromechanical components
• Develop prototypes, test fixtures, and qualification test methods
• Support manufacturing and field issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Create and maintain schematics, requirements, verification documentation, and ECNs
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, software, compliance, reliability, and manufacturing teams
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cost, quality, and lifecycle improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5–8+ years of electrical/electronic product development experience
• Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries preferred

Technical experience with:

• Analog and digital circuit design
• PCB design and PCBA manufacturing processes
• Schematic capture / PCB CAD tools (Mentor, OrCAD, Altium, CADSTAR, or similar)
• Lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, function generators)

Nice to have:

• SMPS and mixed-signal design (ADC/DAC)
• EMI/ESD mitigation and signal/power integrity
• High-speed interfaces (PCIe, 10G Ethernet)
• IEC 60601-1 / 60601-1-2, ISO 14971, EMC compliance experience
• Full product lifecycle development experience
