About
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to lead and oversee electrical operations and maintenance functions. In this role, you will ensure that all facility systems run efficiently and effectively while implementing maintenance policies to support site operations. You will provide technical guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and work collaboratively with other disciplines onsite.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations and long-term planning for all electrical facility services.
- Oversee engineering and central plant operations to promote energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
- Assist in diagnosing complex electrical system issues and respond to emergency calls.
- Communicate electrical system status and functionality to the team and customers, addressing any potential complications.
- Provide technical support for infrastructure-related decisions to internal teams and leadership.
- Manage the electrical aspects of construction and renovation projects from design to completion, ensuring alignment with objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop, interpret, and implement facility maintenance policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Offer professional electrical engineering input on design submittals.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required to be considered.
- 8 - 12 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Active PE (Professional Engineer) certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and testing complex electrical systems.
- Proven ability to lead electrical facility operations effectively.
- Deep knowledge of high availability multi-building electrical systems operations.
- Skilled in resolving complex, multi-disciplinary technical issues related to electrical systems.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership and clients on technical strategies and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in electrical facilities operations.
- Experience in electrical construction and systems integration within field environments.
- Proficient in project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Familiarity with Wonderware or Ignition control systems is a plus.
