For the further expansion of electronics development, we are looking for a smart, curious mind who is enthusiastic about shaping new product generations, thinks outside the box, and actively contributes their knowledge to the team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop hardware systems for new medical technology products from scratch and significantly shape technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• You will develop the electronics system architecture for new and existing medical technology devices, laying the technical foundation for future product generations.
• You will design circuit diagrams, select suitable electronic components, and ensure they are optimally coordinated.
• You will support the structuring and prioritization of hardware development packages and actively participate in planning the technical roadmap.
• You will conceptualize, simulate, and optimize complex analog and digital circuits, with a constant focus on efficiency, robustness, and longevity.
• You will ensure complete, traceable, and standards-compliant documentation throughout all development phases.
• You will contribute to the evaluation of new technologies and drive the further development of existing hardware platforms.
• You will conduct feasibility analyses and examine technical ideas for their implementability and benefit for future products.
• You will work closely with other departments and take an active role in coaching and technically mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Several years of practical experience in the development of electronic systems, ideally in the field of complex embedded applications or regulated technologies.
• In-depth know-how in analog and digital circuit technology as well as experience with common microcontroller platforms (e.g., STM32, NXP, TI).
• Proficiency in using modern EDA tools such as Altium Designer or Eagle.
• Very good communication skills in German and English.
• An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach, combined with the ability to view technical issues holistically.
• Enjoyment of collaboration, openness in communication, and a high degree of team orientation – especially in dynamic, interdisciplinary development environments.
• Willingness to guide, technically support, and actively develop junior team members.
