Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer with robust experience in electrical and electronic design, particularly within shipbuilding and defense systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electrical and electronic components and equipment.
• Evaluate systems to recommend design modifications or equipment repairs; inspect electric and electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in electrical/electronic design.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Interim or Active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/electronic design for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
• Knowledge of Navy acquisition processes.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical design standards for Naval ships and systems.
• Understanding of DoD or DoN policies and procedures, including the DoD 5000 process.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.

Security Clearance

Minimum: Interim or Active Secret security clearance; Preferred: Interim or Active Top Secret security clearance.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, Onsite.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $176,700.00-$200,200.00. Several factors can influence the final salary or hourly rate, including relevant experience, skills, work location, and education.
