Responsibilities:

• You develop embedded controller circuits and real-time embedded firmware for switchgear in medium-voltage applications and accompany the entire process from requirements analysis to production readiness.
• Based on this, you will create specifications, design, implementation, test, and results documentation, taking into account architecture, design, and quality guidelines as well as relevant standards and PLM processes.
• In the next step, you will develop, calculate, and qualify analog and digital circuit concepts, perform simulations, and take over the technical design, including EMC and thermal requirements.
• Furthermore, you will design and implement firmware according to EN 61508, define test concepts and test cases for the verification of electronic assemblies and firmware components, and develop the necessary test programs.
• Finally, you will carry out module, function, and integration tests, be responsible for commissioning and verification, including environmental and EMC tests, and continuously optimize existing products in terms of quality, costs, and functionality.

Qualifications:

• Education
  • You have a completed university degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or technical computer science and many years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience and Knowledge
  • You have many years of experience in the development of embedded software systems (C/C++), ideally with real-time relevance and cybersecurity requirements.
  • You have sound know-how in software design for embedded systems (procedural/object-oriented) as well as knowledge of Assembler.
  • You are proficient in using CAE tools and methods for hardware and software development, including version control, configuration management, bug tracking, and circuit simulation.
• Work Style
  • You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and show high initiative and teamwork skills.
• Language Skills
  • Very good English skills in speaking and writing and good German skills.
