Opportunity to join a well-funded deep-tech start-up working on advanced hardware systems for next-generation AI infrastructure. This Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer role offers hands-on ownership of embedded control systems, working closely with hardware and physics-driven applications in a highly technical environment.

Key Skills / Experience

Required:

• Strong embedded C/C++ development
• Bare-metal development
• Board bring up
• Experience with STM32 or ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
• Proven implementation of feedback control systems (PID, real-time control)
• Understanding of control theory (stability, phase margin, sampling, latency)
• Experience with mixed-signal systems (ADC/DAC) and low-level debugging
• Background working on real-world hardware systems

Beneficial:

• Experience with optical, photonics, RF, or precision instrumentation systems
• Familiarity with frequency-domain analysis (e.g. Bode plots, step response)
• Experience in early-stage or multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Prior technical ownership or mentoring experience
