Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and implement the core software architecture for our next‑generation embedded systems.
  • Write and maintain high‑quality Embedded Linux User SpaceApplication code - we’re talking real, hands‑on development, not just diagrams.
  • Create clean, scalable designs that ensure performance, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to build systems that just work.
  • Set architectural standards, share knowledge, and help the team make sound technical decisions.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

  • 6+ years of experience in Embedded Linux software development.
  • Proficiency with Rust or C++ and a track record of building robust embedded architectures.
  • Strong understanding of multimedia formats (MP4, H.264), network protocols (HTTP, RTSP, RTP), and hardware interfaces (USB, Wi‑Fi, BLE).
  • Experience with hardware–software integration and a passion for performance and reliability.

Nice-to-Haves

  • A bit of background in streaming or real‑time communication systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile or iterative development approaches.

Salary

As you know, due to the collective agreement (KV), we have to mention the official minimum salary, which is EUR €3.843,-/month. But honestly, that’s just a baseline - we’re offering you a salary that truly reflects your skills and the value you bring. We’re excited to recognize your experience with a package well above the minimum and fully competitive in the market.
