What to Expect:

• Conception, implementation, and further development of secure boot mechanisms and secure update strategies
• Securing system startup, software distribution, and communication
• Protection of sensitive data and management of device identities
• Collaboration on security architectures, technical concepts, and design decisions
• Execution and support of security reviews, threat, and risk analyses
• Close cooperation with software development, system architecture, and QA/RA

What You Bring:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, Cyber Security, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the development of embedded or Linux-based systems
• Deep understanding of secure boot concepts and chain of trust
• Professional experience with secure software update mechanisms
• Experience in securing data, devices, and communication
• Experience in a regulated development environment, ideally in medical technology
• Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing are essential
