Responsibilities
- You plan, develop, and are responsible for embedded software solutions for our mobile robot systems.
- You continuously expand your know-how and expertise in new technologies and contribute your expertise to our solutions.
- You are involved in both the new development and further development of our robotics products.
- You implement exciting customer projects with renowned companies and partially accompany them into live operation.
- You are significantly involved in the new development of our software for mobile transport robots with complex transport tasks in the field of intralogistics.
- You implement innovative solutions within the team and actively shape them.
Requirements
- You have completed training in software (university, FH) with a focus on embedded development.
- You already have several years of professional experience in planning and developing hardware-related software.
- You are enthusiastic about the industrial implementation of scientific topics in the field of mobile robotics and can make complex technical decisions independently.
- You are familiar with sensor fusion, control and regulation of hardware components, and tool development – ideally, you have already led or significantly shaped projects in these areas.
- You have gained extensive practical experience in development with C/C++.
- You already have practical experience with real-time systems and real-time bus systems.
- Ideally, you have in-depth practical experience in the development process with tools such as ROS, Git, GitLab, etc.
- You appreciate collaborative development in small, focused teams and are happy to take on technical responsibility.
- You have good German or English language skills (at least B1 level, ideally higher).
- In addition to your strong communication skills, independence, and initiative, you are characterized by your accuracy, creativity, and ability to solve difficult technical problems efficiently and in a structured manner.

Salary Information
For this position, for career starters, there is a minimum salary of EUR 4,000 gross per month (collective agreement for the metal industry, VWG IV, in the 3rd year, 38.5 hours per week).
The salary will be calculated individually, and of course, we offer significant overpayment depending on your qualifications and previous experience.
