Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the aforementioned field
• Very good knowledge of C / C++ programming languages
• Sound knowledge in electronics design
• High sense of responsibility for strategic decisions and independent sub-project management
• Experienced in mentoring new employees and leading small software teams
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Knowledge in military software development, especially aviation, RTCA/DO-178 (documentation and proof of performance) (desirable)
• Knowledge of the (TI) processor families TMS320, ARM-Cortex-M4F and MSP430 (desirable)
• Experience in the development and execution of software unit tests (VectorCast/C++) (desirable)
• Knowledge in the field of ARINC 429 (desirable)
• Experience with the development of LabVIEW programs as well as knowledge in the field of test systems from National Instruments (PXI Standard) (desirable)

Responsibilities

• You develop and optimize application software for fuel management and fuel gauging systems
• You create software requirement documentation and design documents, including source code
• Furthermore, you create SW test plans, test procedures, and test reports
• You validate and verify software modules
• You evaluate and reconcile development results with customer requirements
• You integrate software and hardware in the project team
