We are seeking a dynamic Software Technical Lead to spearhead key components of our project execution, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Control Accountant Manager for project elements assigned by the Engineering Project Manager.
  • Oversee daily activities for team members, focusing on both technical and operational aspects.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to design and implement innovative embedded software solutions.
  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with customers and engineering leadership.
  • Comprehend the technical scope, costs, and timelines associated with the project.
  • Plan, forecast, coordinate, monitor, and lead the software efforts throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Supervise the software team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Proactively escalate issues as they arise.
  • Track team progress toward deliverables, remove impediments, and foster accountability among team members.
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and any potential scope changes in the software effort.
  • If relevant, determine supplier responsibilities and manage their timelines.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders to understand needs and communicate project status effectively.
  • Demonstrate GE Leadership Behaviors continuously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded software development.

  • Familiarity with DO-297 / IMA application development.
