Responsibilities

  • Nurturing System Integrity: Act as a guardian of our instrument’s quality, ensuring that the interplay between embedded software and hardware is seamless, robust, and reliable for our customers.
  • Creative Test Evolution: Design and develop thoughtful test scenarios that explore the system's resilience, helping us identify and resolve potential weaknesses long before they reach the field.
  • Transforming Data into Insight: Analyze logs and results, turning raw data into meaningful improvements that enhance our diagnostic capabilities and long‑term supportability.
  • Collaborative Problem‑Solving: Own the journey of an issue from discovery to resolution, working closely with cross‑functional teams to verify that our solutions are as elegant as they are effective.
  • Bridge‑Building across R&D: Serve as a key technical partner between different development teams and production, using deep system knowledge to provide clarity and support during complex troubleshooting phases.

Requirements

  • A degree (BSc/MSc) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
  • Minimum 5‑7+ years of experience in testing in agile environments, specifically where software meets hardware
  • Proficient with Linux and a strong foundation in test automation (ISTQB certification is a plus)
  • Curious investigator who enjoys learning how things work under the hood; communicates with empathy and clarity, ensuring that technical findings lead to collaborative fixes
  • Fluency in English is required; German is a great advantage for local collaboration
