About our client
For our client, who is continuously evolving to create unique value, we are looking for:
Responsibilities
- Develop low-level drivers that integrate new sensors
- Design and implement low-bandwidth, long-range communication protocols
- Architect, design and develop the next-generation solutions of our collision avoidance system
- Collaborate closely with the algorithms development, support-tools development and server teams to develop new solutions
- Take technical lead on initiatives for global collaboration on embedded topics
- Assist the product-introduction team with product validation in remote locations
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in C on RTOS, preferably on STM platforms
- Good knowledge of low level network protocols (ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP), I2C, CAN, RS2 and SPI
- Experience in debugging at assembler level, preferably on ARM processors
- Good knowledge of IoT, Functional Safety, Linux and/or Python is an asset
- Experience in Test-Driven Design and Continuous Integration is beneficial
- Experience with GNSS and radio is advantageous
- Motivation to work with agile development processes (e.g. SCRUM)
- Willing to travel to colleagues and customers overseas occasionally (~ 2 weeks per year) and holder of a Driver’s license
- Languages: German and English
