Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Your Tasks

• Specification and development of software for modern embedded systems
• Participation in requirements analysis, system design, and architecture concepts
• Development and integration of software modules into existing device software
• Execution of function tests, error analyses, debugging, and software validations
• Collaboration with software development, firmware, and hardware development
• Integration of software modules within modern CI/CD environments
• Technical responsibility within agile development teams
• Support for continuous improvement of development and test processes

Your Profile

Must haves

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Very good knowledge of C/C++ and object-oriented software development
• Experience in embedded software development, embedded Linux, and hardware-near software development
• Knowledge of software quality assurance, test procedures, and error analysis
• Experience with CI/CD and agile development methods
• Good analytical skills and structured way of working

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python, CMake, systemd, dbus
• Experience in the Safety, Security, or Embedded Systems environment
• Experience with Linux-based platforms and automated build and deployment processes
• Experience in complex embedded or communication projects
