Responsibilities
- You develop and optimize application software for Fuel Management and Fuel Gauging systems.
- Software requirement documentation and design documents, including source code, will be created by you.
- Furthermore, you will create SW test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- You will validate and verify software modules.
- You will evaluate and reconcile development results with customer requirements.
- Software and hardware will be integrated by you in the project team.
Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned area.
- Very good knowledge of C / C++ programming languages.
- Sound knowledge in electronics design.
- High sense of responsibility for strategic decisions and independent partial project management.
- Experienced in mentoring new employees and leading small SW teams.
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
Desirable, but not a requirement:
- Knowledge in military software development, especially aviation, RTCA/DO-178 (documentation and traceability).
- Knowledge of the (TI) processor families TMS320, ARM-Cortex-M4F, and MSP430.
- Experience in the development and execution of software unit tests (VectorCast/C++).
- Knowledge in the area of ARINC 429.
- Experience with the development of LabView programs.
- Knowledge in the area of test systems from National Instruments (PXI Standard).
