Responsibilities

  • You develop and optimize application software for Fuel Management and Fuel Gauging systems.
  • Software requirement documentation and design documents, including source code, will be created by you.
  • Furthermore, you will create SW test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • You will validate and verify software modules.
  • You will evaluate and reconcile development results with customer requirements.
  • Software and hardware will be integrated by you in the project team.

Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned area.
  • Very good knowledge of C / C++ programming languages.
  • Sound knowledge in electronics design.
  • High sense of responsibility for strategic decisions and independent partial project management.
  • Experienced in mentoring new employees and leading small SW teams.
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.

Desirable, but not a requirement:

  • Knowledge in military software development, especially aviation, RTCA/DO-178 (documentation and traceability).
  • Knowledge of the (TI) processor families TMS320, ARM-Cortex-M4F, and MSP430.
  • Experience in the development and execution of software unit tests (VectorCast/C++).
  • Knowledge in the area of ARINC 429.
  • Experience with the development of LabView programs.
  • Knowledge in the area of test systems from National Instruments (PXI Standard).
