Senior Embedded Systems Engineer - IoT Devices

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and test sophisticated embedded systems for their next-generation Internet of Things (IoT) devices. This hybrid role involves close collaboration with hardware and software teams to create innovative and reliable product solutions. You will be responsible for the entire embedded software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system architecture to coding, debugging, and validation. Key tasks include developing firmware for microcontrollers, implementing communication protocols, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the security of embedded devices.

The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development. Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded environments is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware-software interaction. Experience with common embedded communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers) is required. Knowledge of IoT platforms and security best practices for embedded devices is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills are essential. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are necessary for effective collaboration in a hybrid work setting.
