Title: Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer
Location: Calgary , Alberta
Duration: 6 Months Introduction Join our dynamic IT team in Calgary as an Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our desktop systems, applications, and devices. Required Skills & Qualifications • Post-secondary degree or diploma in an IT-related area • At least five years of experience in desktop architecture, engineering, or administration • Strong knowledge and skills in Windows 10/11, Client 365, Azure, and other Client technologies • Proficient in desktop deployment, configuration, and management tools such as Intune, Client Endpoint Manager, Group Policy, PowerShell, and SCCM • Experience in desktop security, compliance, and governance, including patching, updates, antivirus, encryption, and auditing • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Experience in a large and complex environment • Experience with performance, availability, and capacity monitoring and optimization tools such as Client Endpoint Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Windows Performance Toolkit • Familiarity with project coordination and tactical support for operational and capital projects
Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Plan and execute the deployment, configuration, and management of desktop systems, applications, and devices • Ensure the security and compliance of the end-user compute environment • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and capacity of the end-user compute infrastructure • Resolve complex and escalated end-user compute issues • Research and evaluate new end-user compute technologies and provide recommendations • Support IT Infrastructure and Operations functions through documentation and process development • Provide communications and change management support for IT initiatives
