This role combines hands-on software engineering and comprehensive system security ownership within a modern cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cutting-edge endpoint security controls for laptops and mobile devices.
  • Automate and build tools that enforce secure configuration standards, minimizing manual processes.
  • Work with IT on device management, deployment, and security throughout the device lifecycle.
  • Mitigate enterprise risks by hardening devices, managing privileges, and enhancing visibility.
  • Engage in incident response and thorough investigations related to endpoints in collaboration with Cyber teams.
  • Continuously improve technical security measures using data metrics, telemetry, and risk insights.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development and scripting (C#, Python, Java, or other modern programming languages) with a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals.
  • A proven history of securing and operating managed endpoints on a large scale.
  • Knowledge of modern device management and endpoint protection principles.
  • Ability to translate security policies into automated, actionable controls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams while achieving secure outcomes.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (preferably Azure), DevSecOps practices, and automation tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • A growth-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn across engineering and security realms.
  • A proactive approach to receiving feedback and striving for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in securing cloud-native applications, SaaS solutions, and networks.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and threat protection practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
    • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).
  • Understanding of Zero Trust principles and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

Compensation

Relativity is dedicated to providing competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position includes total compensation that features a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $104,000 and $156,000. The final offered salary will take into account various factors such as the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Note that hiring at the top end of the range is uncommon to facilitate potential meaningful salary growth within this role.
