Senior Energy Trader

The Role

We are partnered with a leading Energy Trading firm who are looking to expand their European Power & Gas Trading book. As a Senior Trader, you will be responsible for helping build new Trading strategies and play a fundamental role in scaling the Team.

This mandate will be to focus on the European markets across Curve prop strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to get into a fast-paced and risk driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 5+ years’ experience trading North Western EU Energy markets
• Ideally some experience with Nordics experience too
• Proven ability to develop and execute diversified risk deployment strategies
• Ideally some Trading the Continental interconnector markets could be advantageous
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge and practical application of fundamentals in power markets
• Experience in European power & gas market fundamental analysis
• High level of intellectual curiosity
