Senior Engineer (m/f/d) in building automation technology

About

For demanding large-scale projects, we are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer (m/f/d) in building automation technology to plan, coordinate, and successfully deliver complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing building automation for industrial and Life Science projects
• Planning BMS/EnMS (Building Management / Energy Monitoring systems) for Datacentres and Life Science projects
• Supporting design and planning for Utilities, HVAC, LSS across project phases
• Assisting with environmental monitoring systems in Life Science projects
• Drafting technical specifications and planning documents
• Collaborating on project budgets with purchasing
• Selecting and coordinating suppliers throughout project phases

Qualifications

• Completed technical studies in automation technology, electrical engineering, technical computer science, or a comparable qualification
• Demonstrated expertise in subproject and project management
• Optional: Experience in Datacentre or Life Science EPC(M) projects
• Broad knowledge of network infrastructures, wireless communication systems, and intelligent data processing
• Strong understanding of building automation bus systems (such as BACnet, ModBus, LoRA, KNX, DALI) and planning tools
• Advantageous: Process automation and package automation experience, including SCADA-based HMI
• Excellent proficiency in both German and English
