About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of sanctions screening solutions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in identifying potential violations.
- Develop and maintain automated compliance processes, including data validation, alert management, and reporting to mitigate risks.
- Conduct thorough investigations of sanctions alerts, escalating critical findings and providing detailed analysis for decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk management, and technology, to integrate sanctions compliance into existing systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor/Master University degree in IT, Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
- Should contain 8+ years of experience in the software systems development life cycle (SDLC) process and support.
- Strong experience in Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, FSK and Firco Utilities
- Good to have working experience in Firco Case Manager API
- Good to have devops knowledge and CI/CD implementation
- Should have worked on any of the Job scheduling tools
- Good knowledge in IBM MQ and WebSphere
- Good to have working experience in Java/J2EE, Spring framework
- Good to have working experience in Angular and AWS
- Strong experience in Unix Shell Scripting
- Good skills on debugging and troubleshooting issues
- Good to have exposure to Agile methodology
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team‑oriented manner with other team members. Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner with a zeal for self‑learning. Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges. Must be cooperative with good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
