Senior Engineer - Compliance services sanctions

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of sanctions screening solutions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in identifying potential violations.
• Develop and maintain automated compliance processes, including data validation, alert management, and reporting to mitigate risks.
• Conduct thorough investigations of sanctions alerts, escalating critical findings and providing detailed analysis for decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk management, and technology, to integrate sanctions compliance into existing systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor/Master University degree in IT, Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
• Should contain 8+ years of experience in the software systems development life cycle (SDLC) process and support.
• Strong experience in Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, FSK and Firco Utilities
• Good to have working experience in Firco Case Manager API
• Good to have devops knowledge and CI/CD implementation
• Should have worked on any of the Job scheduling tools
• Good knowledge in IBM MQ and WebSphere
• Good to have working experience in Java/J2EE, Spring framework
• Good to have working experience in Angular and AWS
• Strong experience in Unix Shell Scripting
• Good skills on debugging and troubleshooting issues
• Good to have exposure to Agile methodology
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team‑oriented manner with other team members. Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner with a zeal for self‑learning. Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges.
