Data Center-experienced Project Manager ELT (m/f/d)

Your role in the team

• As a Data Center-experienced Project Manager ELT (m/f/d), you will work in a team that is currently being established.

Main tasks

• Planning responsibility and project management of complex data center projects in all service phases of HOAI.
• Leading the specialist project team.
• Leading internal and external planning meetings at Ramboll, coordinating various trades.
• Support of clients and project owners' representatives.
• Development of concepts and layouts for electrical engineering trades, especially in the planning of data centers.
• Monitoring of the project budget and schedule.
• Creating specifications and quotations.
• Assessing risks and implementing appropriate countermeasures.
• Planning in the building model and creation of system diagrams for new construction and renovation projects.
• Coordination and quality assurance of a project team.
• Integral collaboration with colleagues at Ramboll from other departments within and outside Germany.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations, especially in the planning and operation of data centers.
• Strength in conceptual design.
• High consulting competence and a pronounced ability for interdisciplinary thinking and acting.
• Coordinative understanding (including architecture, structural engineering, HVAC, and plumbing).
• Enjoyment of database-based planning and confidence in using the specific software tools (including Autodesk Revit).
• Communication skills and methodological approach.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Experience

• Planning experience in the fields of medium, low voltage, security, and surveillance systems (KG 440 and 450), specifically regarding the requirements for the planning, implementation, and operation of data centers.
• Several years of experience in project management and leading medium to large construction projects.
• Planning experience across all HOAI service phases.

Education

• Completed engineering or master's degree in electrical engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience or a similar qualification.
