To strengthen our project teams, we are looking for a

Senior Engineer High Voltage & Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

(Please note that proficiency in German (level C1) is required.)

Your Tasks

High Voltage & Plant Engineering (≥110 kV)

• Planning, design, and specification of high-voltage systems and substations (AIS / GIS)
• Technical concept development for power transmission and converter systems
• Calculations (short-circuit, load flow, protection concepts, insulation coordination)

Power Electronics

• Integration and design of converters, inverters, and HV components
• Clarification of interfaces between primary technology, secondary technology, and power electronics
• Support with tests, validations, and system optimizations

Control Cabinet Construction & Secondary Technology

• Planning and review of circuit diagrams and control documents
• Technical support for control cabinet construction
• Coordination of protection and control technology

Commissioning & Construction Site

• Support with FAT / SAT
• Commissioning of high-voltage and converter systems
• Fault analysis, optimization, and technical documentation
• Collaboration with customers, suppliers, and international project teams

What You Bring

• Willingness to travel for projects
• Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, or comparable qualification
• Knowledge in power electronics and energy conversion
• Experience in substation projects or large-scale plants is an advantage
• Practical experience in commissioning or construction site coordination is an advantage
• Confident use of relevant standards (IEC, VDE, EN)
• Very good German and English skills
