As part of Vale’s Hydrometallurgy team, you’ll apply your expertise in chemistry, chemical or materials engineering to support global operations and growth initiatives. Your role as a recognized technical authority involves leading technical investigations and providing expert consultation to resolve complex metallurgy challenges. You will bridge communication across various departments and guide R&D projects towards successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory and mini plant test equipment design
• Execute and report on test work programs efficiently
• Provide expertise to Vale’s operational facilities
• Participate in process technical and safety reviews
• Develop technology partnerships with industry and academia

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Chemical or Materials Engineering
• Minimum 10 years in hydrometallurgy operations
• Advanced expertise in test program leadership
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Proven mentorship to junior engineers
