We seek a Senior Engineer to influence design, manufacturing processes, and supplier negotiations. This role is perfect for a motivated Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineer with a strong understanding of part fabrication. You will have real ownership over cost, manufacturability, and the sourcing process while working closely with global suppliers and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize parts during design reviews with Engineering
- Recommend cost-effective manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, casting)
- Conduct value engineering and should-cost analysis initiatives
- Research and qualify domestic and offshore suppliers
- Lead RFQ processes and manage supplier negotiations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 5–8 years in manufacturing or cost engineering
- Familiarity with steel and aluminum fabrication
- Experience with supplier engagements and assessments
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience
