In unserem interdisziplinären Fachbereich arbeiten Sie an der Schnittstelle von Klebetechnologie, Werkstofftechnik, Metallurgie, Kunststofftechnik und Simulation. Als Teil eines Expertenteams unterstützen Sie Entwicklungsabteilungen mit Ihrem analytischen und technologischen Know-how und bringen aktuelle Erkenntnisse aus Forschung und Praxis ein. Your Opportunity

• You will perform demanding surface analyses using modern methods such as contact angle measurement, FTIR, XPS, or EDX, thereby creating well-founded decision-making bases for development projects.
• You will develop, qualify, and optimize surface treatments such as plasma, laser cleaning, pickling, or blasting for various applications.
• You will investigate adhesives and plastics using thermoanalytical methods and derive practical findings for development and application.
• You will design and analytically dimension adhesive bonds and actively support them within development projects.
• You will select suitable adhesives, develop stable bonding processes, and support their successful implementation in the product environment.
• You will contribute your expertise to the further development of adhesive training courses, thus supporting sustainable competence building within the company.

Your Strengths

• Completed studies in e.g. Chemistry, Technical Physics, Engineering / Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Materials / Plastics Technology, …
• Ideally, further training as a European Adhesive Specialist (EAE) (m/f/d) according to EWF/DVS.
• Sound basic knowledge of common organic adhesives such as epoxy resins, acrylates, silicones, and polyurethanes.
• Basic knowledge of measurement and testing technology, and ideally experience with plasma applications.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips domestically and abroad (Europe-wide).
• Strong communication skills – also in English – and a lot of team spirit? Perfect!
