Key Responsibilities
- Lead the piping design, fabrication, and installation activities for a multi‑billion‑dollar offshore EPC project, ensuring compliance with client specifications, international codes (e.g., ASME B31.3, B31.8, API), and KBR quality standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and procurement) to develop integrated construction schedules and resolve interface issues.
- Review and approve isometrics, stress analyses, material take‑offs, and construction drawings; provide technical guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen.
- Oversee field execution – pipe spooling, welding, NDT, hydro‑testing, and pre‑commissioning – ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Manage contractual and commercial aspects related to piping scope (variation orders, claim support, cost control).
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZOPs, and technical reviews; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary client and subcontractor liaison for all piping‑related matters, delivering regular progress reports and technical presentations.
