Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the piping design, fabrication, and installation activities for a multi‑billion‑dollar offshore EPC project, ensuring compliance with client specifications, international codes (e.g., ASME B31.3, B31.8, API), and KBR quality standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and procurement) to develop integrated construction schedules and resolve interface issues.
  • Review and approve isometrics, stress analyses, material take‑offs, and construction drawings; provide technical guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen.
  • Oversee field execution – pipe spooling, welding, NDT, hydro‑testing, and pre‑commissioning – ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Manage contractual and commercial aspects related to piping scope (variation orders, claim support, cost control).
  • Conduct risk assessments, HAZOPs, and technical reviews; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary client and subcontractor liaison for all piping‑related matters, delivering regular progress reports and technical presentations.

Mega‑Project Exposure Proven experience on ≥ US$ 1 B EPC projects (design, construction, or commissioning).
Technical Expertise Deep knowledge of offshore piping systems, stress analysis, pipe‑stress software (e.g., CAESAR II, AutoPIPE), and relevant codes (ASME, API, DNV‑GL).
Education B.Sc. (or higher) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Piping Engineering – mandatory.
Leadership Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams and manage subcontractors on offshore sites.
Software Proficient in PDMS/AVEVA, SmartPlant, and MS Project or Primavera P6.
Languages Fluent English (both written & spoken). Arabic is a plus but not required.
Certifications (preferred) PMP, PE, or relevant offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
